HabitFlow

Productivity & Habit Tracking App

Overview

This project focuses on designing a task and habit management app that helps users stay organized, build consistency, and reduce overwhelm in their daily routines. The goal was to create a clean, intuitive interface that makes it easy to teach tasks, form habits, and maintain motivation over time. Through user-centered design decisions, I prioritized simplicity, clarity, and a supportive experience that encourages long-term engagement.

My Role

UX/UI Designer
• Wireframing
• Visual Design
• Mobile App Design
• User Flows

The Challenge

Managing tasks, building habits, and staying organized often requires using multiple apps, which can feel overwhelming and fragmented.

This project aimed to explore how a single, streamlined interface could support users in managing their daily tasks, tracking habits, and maintaining productivity without adding complexity.

The Goal

Design a clean, engaging blog style experience that highlights adoptable pets, shares educational content, and creates an emotional connection to encourage engagement and adoption.

Key Features
  • Prioritized Task Management- Tasks are categorized by priority level (high, medium, low) to help users focus on what matters most.
  • Done List for Positive Reinforcement- Completed tasks are moved to a dedicated space, helping users track progress and stay motivated.
  • Habit Tracking- Users can monitor recurring behaviors to build consistency over time.
  • Intergrated Calendar- A simple calendar view allows users to plan ahead and stay organized.
  • Focus Tools (Timers)- Built-in timers support productivity techniques like the Pomodoro method.
The Solution

I designed a multi-functional productivity app that brings together task management, habit tracking, calendar organization, and time management tools into one cohesive experience. The interface was designed to feel clean and approachable, with clear seperation between features to prevent users from feeling overwhelmed.

The Outcome

This project demonstrates my ability to simplify complex workflows into an intuitive, user-friendly experience .

The design emphasizes clarity, structure, and usability, providing a foundation for a flexible productivity system that could be expanded and refined through further user testing.

Improving the Netflix User Experience

UX research study

Overview

This project focused on analyzing the user experience of Netflix to identify areas for improvement. Through user research and data analysis, I explored how users interact with the platform and where friction occurs. The goal was to develop actionable recommendations to improve content discovery and overall user satisfaction.

My Role

UX Researcher
•Conducted user research and usability analysis
•Identified key paint points in navigation and content discovery
•Synthesized findings into actionable insights
•Proposed UX improvements to enhance user experience

The Challenge

Streaming platforms like Netflix offer cast content libraries, but users often experience decision fatigue, difficulty finding relevant content, and limited personalization. The challenge was to identify the key areas where users struggle and translate those insights into meaningful design improvements.

The Goal

The goal of this project was to better understand user behaviors, pain points, and expectations when using Netflix, and to propose design solutions that enhance usability, personalization, and content navigation.

Research Process

I conducted user research interviews to gather insights into user behaviors, preferences, and frustrations. I then analyzed the date to identify common patterns and key pain points, which informed the direction of my recommendations.

Key Insights
  • Users often feel overwhelmed by the volume of content available
  • Many users struggle to find content that matches their preferences
  • Personalize recommendations are not always accurate or helpful
  • Navigation and categorization can make content discovery inefficient
Recommendations
  • Improve recommendations algorithms to better reflect user preferences
  • Introduce clearer content categories and filtering options
  • Provide more contextual information to help users make quicker viewing decisions
Outcome

This project highlights how user research can uncover meaningful insights that directly inform design decisions. By focusing on user needs and behaviors, the proposed improvements aim to create a more intuitive and personalized streaming experience.

What I learned

This project strengthened my ability to analyze user date and translate insights into actionable design recommendations.
